Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed
2 Timothy 2:15King James Version (KJV)
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples. That’s why so many families and leaders have returned year after year, week after week, for more than three generations.
Kids lives are forever transformed. Volunteers grow as leaders. Families become stronger and we are able to build community through active involvement in Awana. Our world needs the hope that only Christ gives. God is using Awana to raise up kids, parents, and leaders devoted to knowing Scripture, loving Him, and reaching others with the gospel.
God is changing the world through the ministry of Awana by equipping leaders to reach kids with the gospel and engaging them in long-term discipleship.
Awana impacts and shapes the lives of millions of kids and adults worldwide through proven resources and expertise that help churches and families develop lifelong Disciples of Christ.
Kids in Awana discover God’s love and their identity in Christ and become disciple-making disciples who reach out to their friends.
There is no better run program at F.B.C.A.L. than Awana. The Church fully supports this program with the investment of time, money and volunteers. There are so many stories of adults now that still remember scriptures that they learned in the Awana Program.
The most inspiring story I have heard is of a Military combatant that uses the scripture he learned in Awana when he is in high stress situations. In John 15: 7 Jesus tells us that if we remain in him and his words remain in us that we can ask and it will be done. Learning scripture is vital at a young age in order to build a foundation not of sand but of stone.
The Awana program boasts of memorizing scripture all while having fun and meeting new friends. Join us on Wednesday night while school is in to be a part of our Awana Program.
